Overview
This internship involves contributing to WWF-India's environmental education initiatives, including quality monitoring, research, outreach, event support, and documentation management related to the Wild Wisdom Global Challenge (WWGC) and One Planet Academy (OPA).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality control and assess existing datasets related to WWF-India's WWGC and OPA programs.
- Identify schools and enter their contact information for outreach purposes.
- Engage in outreach activities through telephonic communication and on-site visits to schools for WWGC and OPA.
- Assist with organizing and supporting various environmental awareness events and programs hosted by WWF Environment Education.
- Manage and prepare reports, correspondence, and other relevant documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Applicants should be available for a full-time in-office internship lasting 3 months.
- Internship start window is between July 15, 2026 and August 19, 2026.
- Preference is given to candidates residing in Mumbai.
- Candidates with relevant skills such as project management, MS Excel proficiency, problem-solving ability, effective communication, stakeholder management, and self-learning aptitude are encouraged to apply.
- Civil Engineering students and women looking to start or restart their careers are especially welcome.
Compensation and Benefits
- Monthly stipend ranging from INR 8,000 to 10,000.
- A letter of recommendation upon successful completion.
