About the Internship
This internship offers the opportunity to support Promised Land Labs' SaaS platform for modern churches by engaging in direct outreach, content creation, and product testing. The selected candidate will conduct calls with church leads to deliver concise explanations of the platform, facilitate live demonstrations, and assist with onboarding procedures. The role centers on overcoming objections and effectively engaging potential clients.
Additional duties include producing engaging social media content such as posts, reels, and short videos tailored for Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Warm, accessible copywriting aimed at churches and pastors is required, avoiding corporate jargon. The intern will also participate in quality assurance by testing the app’s real-world functionality, documenting bugs clearly, and verifying bug fixes prior to customer release. A crucial task is monitoring the progression of each lead through stages of contact, installation, and onboarding, and reporting weekly conversion results.
Candidate Requirements
- Must be based in South India (states: Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, or Kerala).
- Should be actively engaged on social media personally, comfortable with being on camera, consistently posting, and responsive to audience interactions.
- Previous experience in sales, telecalling, or fundraising (formal or informal) is highly desirable.
- Able to produce simple multimedia content including reels and posts.
- Proficient in English plus at least one of the following languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, or Kannada.
- Required to download, explore, and use the Nlarj app as a church member before applying to understand the product thoroughly.
