Job description
Role Overview
The Workspace Lead plays a crucial role managing workspace operations and service contracts across the Wellington and Auckland locations. This position supports the broader property team by overseeing RBNZ assets from a landlord’s viewpoint and handling property-related responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various business units to develop workplace solutions tailored to operational requirements while enhancing employee satisfaction.
- Supervise workplace and building conditions by conducting regular inspections and managing maintenance or improvement projects with contractors.
- Oversee property-related tasks to completion, ensuring all stakeholders stay informed and objectives are fulfilled on schedule.
- Offer expert guidance on facilities and property management, sustainability practices, budgeting, and planning for future workspace needs.
Candidate Profile
This position is ideal for a dynamic property or facilities expert who thrives in fast-paced environments, is skilled at problem-solving, and passionate about creating high-quality workspace environments.
- Demonstrated background in Workspace or Facilities Management.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Building Act and compliance codes.
- Knowledgeable about Health and Safety requirements relevant to the built environment and management of contractors.
- Experience in procurement and ongoing contract administration.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, preferably with project management experience.
- Solid financial literacy.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
