Role Overview

We are seeking a Works Inspector specialized in Roading who thrives while working outdoors on the network, collaborating with others, and delivering high-quality outcomes that support the community. Key Responsibilities

As a Works Inspector in Roading, you will ensure the safety, reliability, and maintenance of our roading network. Your duties involve close coordination with contractors, consultants, internal teams, and the community to manage maintenance and capital projects, oversee asset condition, and contribute to the delivery of superior infrastructure services.

Additional qualifications and experience include:

• Possession of a Full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Holding a National Diploma Level 5, National Certificate Level 6, or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Approximately 3-4 years' background in contract administration, works supervision, civil infrastructure delivery, or a related area.
• Familiarity with roading assets, civil engineering practices, local government asset management systems, and pertinent legislation.
