Role Overview
Join Meta's Wellness Response Team within the Psychological Health, Strategy and Response division as a Wellness Response Partner. This role is pivotal in supporting employees worldwide by swiftly addressing and managing mental health crises, including risks of self-harm and harm to others. The position significantly impacts individual wellbeing as well as the overall psychological health framework of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and compassionately to reported wellness incidents, ensuring affected individuals receive appropriate support and resources.
- Manage intake, triage, and coordination of wellness cases, aligning resources effectively across functions.
- Provide continuous rotational on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays, to maintain 24/7/365 wellness support availability.
- Design and implement scalable, targeted wellness strategies and change management initiatives to support growth.
- Offer guidance and collaborate with organizational leaders by analyzing trends, recommending improvements, and facilitating solution implementation.
- Balance considerations of employee wellbeing and business risk when developing response strategies.
- Create and conduct Manager and Partner training programs informed by data and organizational needs.
- Integrate with key departments such as HR, Legal, Investigations, Learning & Development, and Security to execute and scale wellness solutions.
- Partner with regional and global teams to coordinate solutions and influence strategic priorities across stakeholders.
- Lead and contribute to projects within the extended HR community, fostering collaboration and professionalism.
- Build strong working relationships and exemplify leadership through integrity, respect, and high standards.
- Promote community within the organization by supporting colleagues, respecting diversity, and assisting new hires.
- Participate actively in recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Over 12 years of postgraduate clinical experience in Psychology, Counseling, or Crisis Response.
- Master’s degree in psychology, behavioral health, or a related field.
- Hold current professional licensure or accreditation (e.g., licensed psychologist, LCSW, LPC) as regulated by the relevant state or governmental authority.
- Demonstrated expertise in crisis management, risk evaluation, psychopathology, and occupational health.
- Experience working with diverse, global populations.
- Strong judgment skills in balancing individual health risks with organizational considerations.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, empathy, and collaborative abilities.
- Proven experience in project and change management, including autonomous decision-making across multiple teams and locations.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments and build strategic relationships across teams.
- Experience supporting scaling efforts in global or matrixed organizations.
- Strong consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ethical AI practices including risk management, bias reduction, and quality assurance.
- Doctoral degree in psychology or related behavioral sciences.
- Continuous development and application of AI skills, such as context engineering and agent orchestration.
- Proven capability to incorporate AI tools for workflow optimization and measurable impacts like improved efficiency and quality.

Compensation ranges from $174,000 to $247,000 annually, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Actual pay is based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location. Benefits information is provided separately.
