Warehouse Manager

Job Overview

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire day-to-day functions of warehouse activities including goods receipt, storage, and dispatch.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all warehouse personnel such as supervisors, operators, and helpers.
• Plan manpower allocation to ensure production and delivery deadlines are met.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock, including periodic audits.
• Ensure timely loading and unloading of materials with coordination across departments like production, procurement, logistics, and sales.
• Uphold warehouse safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and quality control measures.
• Monitor warehouse equipment performance and arrange maintenance as needed.
• Prepare comprehensive reports daily, weekly, and monthly on warehouse operations.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and apply effective corrective actions.
• Control operational costs and seek improvement in efficiency.
• Provide training to employees on warehouse procedures, safety measures, and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and health and safety requirements.
• Lead continuous process improvement projects to enhance warehouse productivity and accuracy.

Required Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with ERP systems or Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
