Job Overview

The Warehouse Dispatcher plays a crucial role in managing arranged pickups, whether scheduled via customer service or internet booking. This position ensures pickups are assigned accurately and promptly to the correct drivers and swiftly addresses any failed collections.

Responsibilities

• Manage pickup assignments by designating drivers according to their routes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy, including coordinating urgent pickup requests with strong support from automated systems.
• Maintain continuous communication with customers regarding any unexpected delays in pickup schedules.
• Oversee distribution and troubleshooting of devices to appropriate drivers, resolving minor technical issues as necessary.
• Coordinate collection of palletized shipments by monitoring requests and issuing daily pre-alert emails concerning shipments for export.
• Track and follow up on cases of missed pickups in collaboration with the Customer Experience Coordinator (CEC).
• Provide assistance to the CEC with package tracking, delivery updates, supply requests, driver follow-ups, delivery change requests, and handling undelivered packages through email or phone communications.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Singapore's geography, including roads and areas.
• Understanding of operational plans including processes, procedures, and standard operating hours.
• Ability to learn and proficiently use relevant systems through provided training.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with effective communication for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to perform tasks involving light physical activities.

Working Conditions

This position is fully onsite. The candidate must be available to work 5.5 days per week (every alternate Saturday) with the following schedule: Monday from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
