Role Overview

This opportunity is for a Waiter/Waitress position at Gloria Osteria Dublin. You will be part of the floor service team and play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Take care of guests in your assigned section and deliver service in line with the restaurant’s standards.
• Guide guests through the menu, make suggestions, encourage additional purchases, and handle payments.
• Build strong knowledge of the food, wines, and cocktails served by the restaurant.
• Support opening and closing duties for the dining area.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety practices while keeping the floor tidy and well organised.
• Contribute to a positive guest experience by bringing energy, warmth, and professionalism.
• Work closely with the team, assist colleagues during service, and stay solution-focused when issues arise.

Required Profile

• A friendly personality, with a genuine interest in Italian food and hospitality.
• High energy, a proactive mindset, and a collaborative approach.
• Strong guest-handling and communication abilities.
• Prior experience serving in a busy restaurant environment.
• Availability across evenings and weekends.
