About the Role
Become a vital part of advancing public transportation by driving Palmerston North's pioneering 100% electric bus fleet for New Zealand's largest family-owned passenger transport company. This opportunity involves contributing to regional transit improvements with an emphasis on passenger safety and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Candidate Profile
- Deliver safe, confident driving on urban routes using electric buses.
- Engage with passengers courteously, ensuring a positive travel experience.
- Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate excellent communication abilities.
- Possess prior customer service experience.
- Hold a full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence for a minimum of two years with a clean driving record.
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a Class 2 licence with the ability to secure a Passenger Endorsement (existing endorsement is advantageous).
- Successfully complete required medical examinations, police vetting, and pre-employment checks including drug and alcohol screening.
