Role Overview

This full-time hybrid position, based in Lahore with options for some remote work, involves identifying relevant projects on Upwork and similar freelancing sites. The Upwork Bidder will analyze client needs, craft customized proposals aligning ByteMage’s offerings with client requests, manage the bid pipeline, follow up on submissions, arrange discovery discussions, and maintain clear communication with potential clients. Collaboration with sales and technical departments is key to refining bids, gathering project information, and structuring deals aligned with ByteMage’s execution-oriented approach. Daily tasks include organizing prospect records, monitoring conversion metrics, and continuously enhancing bidding processes.

Key Qualifications

• Proficiency in drafting persuasive proposals and strong business communication, capable of translating technical solutions into client-centered narratives.
• Experience using Upwork or comparable platforms for project research, bid submission, and client interaction.
• Understanding of software development, SaaS, or AI products to interpret client requirements and coordinate effectively with engineering teams.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to evaluate project scope, budget, and client suitability prior to bidding.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities for handling multiple bids, follow-ups, and consistent reporting.
• Comfortable working with CRM systems, spreadsheets, and online collaboration tools for managing pipelines and documentation.
• Fluent written and verbal English; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
• Previous background in sales support, lead generation, or pre-sales related to technology services is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Capable of working efficiently in a hybrid work environment located in Lahore, showing initiative, responsibility, and professional client engagement.
