About the Role
As a pivotal member of our Trade Support Team based in Lower Hutt, you will deliver outstanding customer service and support to our Account Managers, suppliers, and customers. Your central focus will be to ensure a smooth and effective customer journey by handling inquiries, offering product expertise, providing quotes and pricing details, and devising solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries received via phone, email, and in-person visits.
- Identify and propose value-enhancing solutions for both internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Gather precise briefs from stakeholders to prepare accurate quotations and relevant documentation.
- Collaborate closely with account managers and team leaders during daily and weekly planning sessions to capture all sales opportunities.
- Offer expert advice on products, quotes, and pricing while customizing solutions to meet client needs.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in customer service and/or sales roles.
- Although experience in the building industry is not mandatory, enthusiasm for learning our products and processes is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to offer customized customer solutions.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and organize time and workspace for peak efficiency.
- Proficiency with general computer use including Outlook and Word; comprehensive training on internal systems will be provided.
Employment Details
This is a permanent, full-time position comprising 40 hours per week, operating Monday through Friday from our Lower Hutt location.
