Role Summary
This pivotal position focuses on planning, developing, executing, and continuously optimizing functional testing for the Global Identity and Access Management (IAM) program. As the Test Lead, you will spearhead quality engineering initiatives and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable IAM solutions. The role ensures the delivery of clear, high-quality, and fully traceable artifacts aligning business, technical, and testing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design comprehensive test plans, cases, and scenarios covering functional, regression, failover, and accessibility testing.
- Develop and maintain automated testing suites utilizing frameworks such as Selenium and UFT.
- Execute manual and automated tests on IAM platforms including Saviynt, Entra ID, and Delinea.
- Aim for extensive test coverage and expedite defect detection.
- Work jointly with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing workflows within CI/CD pipelines.
- Promote defect prevention approaches and continuous process enhancements.
- Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Convert requirements into precise user stories, acceptance criteria, and verifiable specs.
- Document IAM process workflows, system interactions, and perform gap analysis.
- Ensure complete traceability between requirements, testing procedures, and final implementation.
- Prepare testing reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to team members.
- Collaborate across functions to align solutions with changing business and security requirements.
- Participate actively in broader IAM and security strategic projects.
Desired Qualifications and Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in IAM testing and/or business analysis.
- Hands-on expertise with IAM tools such as Saviynt and Entra ID preferred.
- Proficient in SQL for reporting, data analytics, and translating business requirements into insights.
- Experience working with automation frameworks like Selenium and UFT.
- Strong knowledge of IAM/IGA workflows including Joiner-Mover-Leaver, provisioning, and access control mechanisms.
- Capability to bridge technical implementation with business needs and testing rigorously.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Familiarity working in Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Skilled in managing priorities across distributed global teams.
- Effective communicator in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Certifications such as CISSP or CBAP are advantageous but not mandatory.

This position is primarily remote with opportunities in Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver. The salary range is approximately CAD 109,680 to CAD 120,000 annually, determined by role level, location, and candidate experience.
