Technician Scaffolding

About the Role

Exyte is currently seeking a Technician specializing in scaffolding to join their team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring assigned scaffolding tasks are carried out efficiently and accurately with timely updates to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize appropriate fall protection gear during scaffold operations.
• Erect scaffolds strictly according to approved designs under supervision.
• Refrain from erecting, dismantling, or modifying scaffolds without the presence of a scaffold supervisor.
• Comply with manufacturer guidelines and erect scaffolds under the guidance of a competent individual.
• Construct scaffolding frameworks to facilitate work at heights for construction activities.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols throughout scaffolding tasks.
• Inspect work areas to determine the necessary scaffolding types.
• Dismantle scaffolding structures upon project completion.
• Follow all site-specific safety, quality, work, and access requirements.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager or Engineer.
• Comply fully with all safety policies and consistently wear issued protective equipment.
• Maintain accountability for all tools and equipment provided by the company.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction or related fields with a focus on scaffold erection.
• Certification in Work at Height and as a Metal Scaffold Erector.
• Completion of ITI or Secondary level education.
