Role Summary
The Technical Talent Sourcer plays a critical role in supporting the recruitment team by locating, engaging, and assessing skilled technology candidates. This role involves building sustainable candidate pipelines, initiating contact and preliminary screenings, and forwarding qualified prospects to the recruiters for further assessment. The ideal candidate possesses natural curiosity, enjoys detailed research, comprehends technical language, and is motivated by hitting measurable recruitment targets within a team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize Boolean search methods and various sourcing techniques to identify qualified candidates for both technical and non-technical jobs.
- Develop and sustain robust candidate pipelines aligned with present and upcoming hiring demands.
- Investigate companies, sectors, and talent pools to source top-tier candidates.
- Tailor sourcing approaches based on role types and current market conditions.
- Engage candidates via phone, emails, and targeted recruitment campaigns.
- Conduct high-level screening interviews against defined qualification standards.
- Evaluate candidate interest, availability, and alignment with minimum job criteria.
- Submit qualified candidates to internal recruiters for advanced evaluation.
- Maintain precise candidate data within Salesforce and applicant tracking systems.
- Monitor outreach metrics, candidate progression, and sourcing effectiveness.
- Participate actively in daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and regular training.
- Work collaboratively with recruiters to grasp new assignments and prioritize hiring needs.
- Achieve goals related to outreach volume, candidate discussions, and qualified submissions.
- Enhance sourcing strategies and recruiting knowledge continuously through feedback and training.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in candidate sourcing or recruitment support roles is essential.
- Educational or professional background in IT, Computer Science, Technical Support, Network Administration, or related disciplines.
- Capability to understand technical jargon and communicate effectively with technology professionals.
- Proficiency in creating or learning Boolean search queries.
- Strong analytical and research abilities.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Professional demeanor and presentation during phone and video interactions.
- Working knowledge of CRM or applicant tracking platforms.
- Possession of dependable computer equipment, headset, internet connection, and a dedicated workspace.
- Availability to work full-time from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time, with occasional scheduling flexibility as required.
