Technical Business Analyst

Overview

Qualis1 Inc. is looking to hire a part-time Technical Business Analyst to collaborate on various business and data-driven projects. This role is remote and based in the USA, working around 20 hours per week under a 6-month contract-to-hire arrangement.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will gather and scrutinize business requirements, bridge the communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, and compose intricate SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and reporting support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in a Technical Business Analyst capacity
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries including joins, subqueries, aggregations for data validation
• Effective collaboration with business and development teams
• Ability to convert business needs into detailed technical specifications
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication abilities

Preferred Skills

• Background in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting tools
• Familiarity with ETL processes, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts

Terms and Schedule

This is a remote role with around 20 hours weekly commitment on a part-time basis, initially for 6 months with potential for contract-to-hire conversion.
