Technical Account Manager

Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves a vital part in assisting clients to effectively embrace Google Cloud products, steering their technical and strategic digital transformation endeavors.

Primary Duties

• Drive and oversee customer integration of Google Cloud, guiding implementation phases while managing timelines, milestones, migration targets, and transformation strategies.
• Advocate on behalf of clients to resolve challenges, promote customer interests, and affect new feature innovations, managing several concurrent streams to sustain progress.
• Forge and nurture strategic connections with diverse stakeholders, comprehend business goals, develop roadmaps, and steer quarterly business reviews.
• Coordinate with Support, Engineering, and Site Reliability teams in preparation for customer events and launches to ensure success.
• Generate best practices and resources based on client engagements to disseminate initiatives through partners and boost cloud service adoption.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of five years experience interfacing with customers, managing stakeholder relations, and leading technical implementation or transformational programs.
• Expertise supporting customers in cloud operations, technical support, escalation management, or consulting domains.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Ability to convert business requirements into effective technological solutions.
• Experience with application or workload migration to public cloud platforms.
• Collaborative experience working with cross-functional teams, channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT operations, databases, networking, security, application development, cloud-native services, hosted environments, storage, or content delivery.
