Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Assist in organizing and implementing IT security awareness and training initiatives throughout the organization.
- Support investigations and detailed documentation of security concerns such as phishing attempts, violations of policy, and access problems.
- Gather, arrange, and preserve records related to security incidents, training completions, governance controls, and audit processes.
- Monitor and report progress on training, trends in security incidents, outstanding governance tasks, and other ongoing IT operational matters.
- Contribute to compliance efforts, including audits and risk evaluations, under guidance.
- Provide general IT support services such as managing helpdesk tickets and assisting staff with access issues, software tools, and basic troubleshooting.
- Help manage IT operations at the Lisbon office including employee onboarding and offboarding, preparing devices, and maintaining IT asset records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure prompt problem resolution and escalate issues when necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Currently enrolled in a degree program focused on Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a similar area.
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity and IT governance principles.
- Excellent organizational aptitude with a keen eye for detail and quality documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data responsibly.
- Proficient in using common productivity applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation software.
- Motivated self-starter eager to expand knowledge and comfortable supporting both security-related tasks and everyday IT functions.
