Tax Manager - Advisory Focus

About the Role

We are representing a distinguished boutique tax advisory firm located centrally in Dublin that maintains a strong work-life balance and services a notable portfolio of Irish clients. The team comprises over 40 tax professionals and continues to expand.

This position is primarily advisory-focused, engaging with high-profile business leaders, high net worth individuals (HNWI), and their associated companies. Approximately 65% of the role involves advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage various tax areas including Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Capital Acquisitions Tax (CAT), Corporation Tax, and VAT.
• Provide support in tax disciplines beyond your primary specialism.
• Collaborate directly with Partners and Directors to enhance expertise.
• Maintain strong client-facing interaction and provide insightful tax advice.

Candidate Profile

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA and CTA professional.
• Current or former experience at a top 10 or top 20 accounting firm, ideally seeking new challenges in Irish Taxation.
• Demonstrate genuine commitment to assisting clients with optimal tax advice and support.
• Driven to cultivate long-term tax knowledge and professional growth.

Offer and Progression

Starting base salary ranges from €70,000 to €78,000, with additional bonus potential and a salary review scheduled within six months. The role begins as Tax Manager with an opportunity to progress to Senior Manager within approximately 9 to 12 months, aligned with individual capability and performance.

Work Arrangement

The position is based in Dublin city centre with a hybrid model requiring attendance 2 to 3 days per week in the office.
