About the Role
Join our team to build and optimize the operational frameworks for our company's rapid growth. In this role, you will take charge of core operational processes and continuously enhance them, shaping the way we operate to support scaling.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) of operational processes by identifying bottlenecks, proposing enhancements, and seeking automation opportunities as part of your core duties.
- Own end-to-end order fulfillment processes, overseeing operations from order receipt through storage and logistics to final delivery, while maintaining accurate data in inventory management and CRM systems.
- Manage supplier and logistics relationships, including communication, negotiations, problem solving, and cost optimization.
- Lead projects involving multiple departments including support, product development, and business functions, fostering cross-functional collaboration and gaining broad company insights.
- Collaborate directly with the company founder, contributing initiatives and making decisions to promote operational excellence.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or equivalent education in logistics, supply chain management, industrial engineering, business administration, or related fields.
- Practical experience of 1 to 3 years in supply chain management, logistics, or operations, with a hands-on understanding of real-world challenges.
- Highly structured, reliable, and autonomous approach; proactive in identifying and executing tasks independently without constant supervision.
- Strong commitment to ongoing process improvements and personal growth within the role.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, MS Office, Google Workspace, and active use of AI tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Fluency in German, both written and spoken, at native level.
About Xtherma
Based on research by Fraunhofer Institute and ETH Zurich, Xtherma identifies that incorrectly configured heat pumps significantly increase energy consumption and costs. We develop and market intelligent air-to-water heat pumps paired with our innovative remote portal, designed by and for tradespeople.
Having nearly quadrupled revenue last year through existing customers alone, we are now establishing the infrastructure to sustain this growth. We seek a diligent Operations Manager to oversee operational processes and continuously propose improvements.
