Job description
Role Overview
CIMSPA invites applications from individuals passionate about sport and physical activity to join us as a Strategy and Project Officer within our Strategic Delivery Team. This role involves coordinating various projects, supporting organisational expansion, and advancing our strategic goals. Collaborating with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders, you'll play a critical part in delivering projects while contributing to the evolution of our digital and operational infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support multiple projects from start to finish
- Establish and nurture effective relationships with partners and stakeholders
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and governance activities
- Track project progress and generate routine updates and reports
- Identify risks related to projects and the organisation and assist in developing mitigation strategies
- Contribute to post-project evaluations and initiatives for continuous improvement
- Help in resource planning and manage interdependencies between projects
- Advocate for robust governance, reporting, and project management protocols
- Support strategic operations, reporting, and organisational planning
- Proactively remove obstacles that hinder project and organisational success
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in project coordination or related project management roles
- Excellent organisational aptitude with strong ability to plan and prioritise work effectively
- Ability to juggle several tasks and meet conflicting deadlines confidently
- Strong communicator capable of fostering positive workplace relationships
- Comfortable leading meetings and engaging diverse stakeholders
- Proactive in detecting risks and crafting effective solutions to challenges
- Detail-focused with proficient reporting and administrative competencies
- Committed to achieving superior outcomes and driving ongoing improvements
