About the Team

The Internal System Organization forms the backbone of Stripe, powering essential financial sectors like Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Product Experience, and Go-to-Market. This Financial Enablement team serves as the centralized analytics hub, providing data analytics, dataset creation, dashboards, AI tools, and operational efficiency improvements to support these critical business units.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to spot trends, conduct detailed research, and create impactful visualizations that deliver actionable insights tailored to stakeholders' business needs.
• Collaborate extensively across teams including Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Product, Tax, User Billing, Seller Systems, and Sales Operations to align financial objectives and foster revenue growth.
• Act as a strategic data partner to internal business units, guiding data-driven decision-making.
• Reconcile intricate data from multiple complex financial systems to ensure accuracy.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on improving operational efficiency, enabling stakeholders to operate more effectively.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to shape and define product solutions based on data insights.
• Utilize AI technologies to enhance team productivity and workflow efficiency.
• Organize internal knowledge-sharing sessions to bolster team expertise and cohesion.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in data analysis roles.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL (minimum 3 years) with a solid grasp of complex data relationships.
• Experience handling very large and complex datasets.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills suitable for cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated track record working across teams to achieve business and operational objectives.
• Strong project management capabilities including holding collaborators accountable for outcomes.
• Ability to connect large-scale strategic objectives to detailed operational insights.
• Adherence to team norms and values, with a collaborative team-oriented approach.
• Keen eye for opportunities to enhance data management processes.
• Domain expertise in Finance, Accounting, or Go-to-Market functions is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within dynamic, fast-paced environments such as high-growth fintech, technology companies, or management consulting.
• Familiarity collaborating with Product Managers, Engineers, and Finance or Accounting teams.
• Proficiency with business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools including Claude Code and Kai.
• Knowledge of fintech products and related financial datasets.
• Advanced education in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's or Master's degrees) is advantageous.
• Certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.

Work Location and Expectations

This role is based in the Bangalore office where attendance in the local workplace is expected 100% of the time, supporting in-person collaboration and user engagement. Stripe generally promotes a hybrid work model, but certain teams including this one require full on-site presence to support operational workflows and user needs.
