Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position based in Alice Springs, NT involves delivering specialized support in supply chain operations across the Central Australia and Barkly Regions for NT Health services and external clients. The role requires a physically capable self-starter attentive to detail and problem-solving, focused on meeting outcomes within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert warehouse management assistance in daily inventory operations.
• Accurately process stock requests and handle documentation for all incoming and outgoing goods, including receipting, picking, packing, dispatching, and delivery.
• Use barcode scanning technology to generate orders via the Health Procurement System, ensuring continuous supply for health service delivery, including barcode maintenance and review.
• Coordinate with Clinical Nurse Managers and other personnel regarding stock levels, rotation, sterility, and storage locations.
• Research and input inventory details into the Health Procurement System, ensuring compliance with Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) standards.
• Conduct cyclical and ad hoc stock audits to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Manage and support catalog item maintenance within the Health Procurement System and contribute to continuous warehouse service improvement.
• Promote a positive workplace culture and build strong relationships with staff, external agencies, and suppliers by demonstrating professional work practices and exemplary behavior.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficiency in computer applications, including email and stock management software.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Post-secondary qualifications in Supply Chain, Materials Handling, Inventory Management, or related business fields.
• Prior experience in commercial or public sector supply chain environments.
• Unrestricted forklift license and a Medium Rigid Drivers License.
