About the Role
Be a part of our expanding Newcastle warehouse team as a full-time Storeperson, playing a key role in supporting our growing customer demands. Your duties will be hands-on, working across various warehouse functions like receiving, dispatching, picking, packing, and bulk handling. Operating forklifts and interacting with customers at the trade counter and within Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) environments will add diversity to your workday.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Receive incoming goods, label and store them correctly.
- Load, unload, and sort deliveries and vehicles as required.
- Maintain stock levels by shelving products and ensuring they are well-displayed.
- Operate forklifts to facilitate warehouse logistics safely and effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in warehousing or a storeperson role is essential.
- Possess a current and valid forklift license.
- Strong communication capabilities paired with a dependable and positive attitude.
- Customer-focused approach combined with a collaborative team spirit.
- Knowledge of warehouse systems and RF handheld devices is advantageous.
