Role Overview

The Store Manager role involves overseeing a busy retail outlet with a substantial team and significant financial turnover. Operating primarily Tuesday through Saturday with flexible hours, this leadership position focuses on ensuring exceptional customer experience, managing department leaders, and achieving sales targets. The manager will foster a positive work environment, coach and develop the team, handle store operations, and apply strategic thinking to maximize profitability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple department managers and back-of-house teams handling high delivery volumes.
• Manage store operations efficiently while maintaining high service standards across departments.
• Utilize sales data and reporting to enhance profitability and identify growth opportunities.
• Drive customer loyalty through coaching teams to deliver outstanding customer service consistently.
• Build and maintain a positive team culture, recognize achievements, and manage underperformance.
• Plan talent development and succession within the team by recruiting and training strong retail staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in coaching retail teams to provide exceptional customer engagement and loyalty.
• Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing financial budgets.
• Strong expertise in retail operations management and process optimization.
• Leadership experience managing department managers or sizeable full-time teams.
• Ability to interpret data and reports to drive smart product placement and commercial decisions.
