Role Overview

As the Store Manager at the Doncaster location, you will harness your entrepreneurial mindset to successfully grow the store's business, cultivate and lead your team, and create a vibrant community experience centered around sports enthusiasts. Your role involves managing store operations, guiding team members, and connecting deeply with the local tennis community.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, and motivate a team of dedicated Athlete Advisors and an Assistant Manager to effectively engage and educate the tennis community about Wilson’s leading sportswear and equipment technologies.
• Establish and strengthen community ties, focusing particularly on the tennis segment within the new market area.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver unique product experiences tailored to the needs of the community.
• Oversee and implement impactful visual merchandising strategies for sportswear, footwear, and equipment.
• Manage all aspects of store operations with dedication to enhancing the experiences of both athletes and team members.
• Utilize KPI analytics to inform decision-making and accelerate business performance.
• Develop and execute growth strategies for the business and professional development plans for the team.
• Consistently achieve sales goals through strategic team scheduling and coaching efforts.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in retail, preferably in sports-focused environments.
• Demonstrate a strong passion for tennis and sport-inspired fashion.
• Experience in leader development and an ability to identify and nurture team members' growth opportunities.
• Skill in articulating a clear vision, aligning teams around shared objectives, and inspiring dedication to these goals.
• Commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences daily.
• Excellent communication capabilities.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently within an entrepreneurial setup.
