About the Role

The Hotel Frankenland GmbH in Bad Kissingen, Bavaria, Germany is seeking a Souschef (m/w/d) for a full-time position onsite. The successful candidate will step in as the deputy to the Küchenchef and be responsible for supporting smooth operations within the kitchen department. This role includes assuming different kitchen stations as needed and ensuring exceptional food preparation and presentation for the hotel's restaurants and banquet events.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent the Küchenchef during absences and assist in managing the kitchen's daily operations.
• Prepare, cook, and elegantly plate dishes and meals for both restaurant service and banquets.
• Transfer culinary knowledge and skills to junior chefs to foster team development.
• Uphold the hotel’s high-quality standards as well as HACCP food safety regulations.

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable kitchen leadership role.
• A business-minded and proactive approach to work.
• Work style characterized by high-quality awareness and strong sense of responsibility.
• Dependable, discreet, with excellent communication capabilities.

• Fluent in German and proficient in English languages.
