Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our client's team in a full-time remote position. The primary focus is on developing scalable backend systems that support real-time user interactions on global platforms. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy high-impact solutions and work on mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services within distributed environments.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards and testing practices.
• Improve system performance through profiling, debugging, and enhancing algorithms.
• Engage in code reviews, contribute to architectural design, and participate in technical discussions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineering peers to deliver features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud-native applications.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning techniques.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design concepts.
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment processes.
