About the Role

Join Yeo Valley's dedicated team as a Skilled Operator at our Blagdon site, playing a crucial role in the production process by preparing and packing our product base. You'll be operating milk mixing systems, ensuring quality standards, adhering to hygiene protocols, and supporting timely supply for further production stages.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and upkeep milk mixing machinery and related equipment.
• Follow mixing recipes and production schedules with precision.
• Perform routine quality inspections and maintain detailed batch documentation.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to maintain product consistency and regulatory compliance.
• Keep the working environment sanitized and safe.
• Provide support in stock management, including inventory and rotation.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capability to carry out manual operations as required.
• Strong attention to detail in all tasks.
• Effective communication skills.
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a production setting.

Desirable:

• Basic knowledge of food hygiene practices.
• Familiarity with HACCP standards.
• Engineering-related skills.
