Role Overview

This full-time position based onsite in Dubai entails overseeing day-to-day site operations for interior fit-out projects. The Site Supervisor ensures all activities conform to project plans, technical specifications, quality benchmarks, and safety protocols. The role involves coordinating subcontractors and workers, tracking progress closely, reporting to project managers, conducting quality inspections, solving on-site challenges, managing resources and materials, and ensuring schedules and milestones are accomplished. Additionally, the supervisor facilitates client site visits and maintains thorough documentation of site progress and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all daily on-site operations making sure tasks align with project plans and safety regulations.
• Manage the workforce including subcontractors and laborers, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
• Inspect workmanship regularly to uphold quality standards and identify any issues promptly.
• Monitor project progress against timelines and report updates to project managers.
• Organize and oversee materials procurement and resource allocation on site.
• Support client visits by preparing the site and ensuring smooth communication.
• Maintain comprehensive records and documentation related to site activities and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supervising construction or interior fit-out sites with sound understanding of site operations and task flow.
• Familiarity with building codes, health and safety standards, as well as quality control measures specific to fit-out works.
• Ability to read, interpret, and communicate drawings, specifications, and project schedules effectively to the workforce.
• Strong organizational aptitude, time management skills, and capability to handle multiple tasks to meet challenging deadlines.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills for coordinating contractors, workers, and other stakeholders on site.
• Basic proficiency in project documentation software, email correspondence, and daily reporting formats.
• Preferred educational background includes a technical diploma or degree in construction, civil engineering, architecture, or related domains.
• Previous experience with fit-out projects in Dubai, UAE, or the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region is considered an advantage.
