It is the only resort of its kind in Singapore and features 454 guest rooms and suites finished in natural tones. Every room includes a private balcony or terrace with views of the ocean or gardens. The property is positioned as a peaceful island retreat with spa experiences and dining options.
Role Overview
The resort is hiring a Shift Duty Engineer to support day-to-day engineering operations and ensure facilities and equipment remain in excellent working condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and oversee the engineering technicians on shift.
- Make sure all equipment and systems operate reliably and without interruption.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and decide what needs immediate attention first.
- Contribute to engineering projects by planning tasks, supervising execution, and following through on completion.
- Assist with audit-related activities and internal training initiatives.
Candidate Profile
The employer is seeking someone who is enthusiastic about engineering, welcomes new challenges, and is comfortable working in shifts. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, capable of motivating others, and able to take initiative.
Experience in electrical engineering and gas welding is preferred. Prior work as a Duty Engineer or in a similar hotel engineering role is required, along with practical exposure to building maintenance. A diploma or certificate in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Marine Engineering is expected.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Singapore. Candidates must be willing to work rotational shifts.
