Service Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform field service operations focused on automatic door systems. You will be responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance and retrofits on mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of automatic doors, troubleshooting issues, and proposing parts replacements.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled servicing and retrofit work on automatic door components including mechanical, electrical, and electronic parts.
• Perform site inspections and diagnose automatic entrance issues, recommending suitable parts for replacement to clients.
• Prepare comprehensive site reports to confirm the completion of tasks for client records.
• Carry out testing, commissioning, decommissioning, and risk assessments on automatic entrance systems and related products.
• Suggest system upgrades and provide practical solutions for existing automatic door entrances to clients.
• Maintain the assigned service vehicle, ensuring it is roadworthy, clean, and hygienic at all times.
• Stay informed on product updates and technical knowledge of both ASSA ABLOY and competitor products.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are kept in good operational condition, replacing them as needed due to damage or wear.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management or supervisors.
