Job Details

We are hiring a Senior Strategy Manager for our Cologne or Düsseldorf offices to drive and shape Apleona’s strategic agenda and growth trajectory, particularly focusing on selected German regions. Key thematic areas include Commercial Excellence, value chain depth, performance and profitability improvement, as well as M&A initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Advance key themes on Apleona's strategic roadmap emphasizing growth and profit enhancement.
• Develop concepts and sustain performance management to support robust organic growth.
• Collaborate across functions, regions, and business units within the strategic team.
• Conduct essential analyses, lead workshops, and establish project milestones.
• Participate in identifying M&A targets and assist in managing M&A processes.
• Serve as a sparring partner to top executives including the Management Board, Business Unit leaders, and subsidiary directors.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Several years of experience in strategy consulting or a similar professional environment.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with proactive strategic and innovative thinking.
• Proven track record in implementing strategic programs involving diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication abilities and experience engaging with top management.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with PowerBI and other analytical tools is advantageous.
• A passion for hands-on involvement and enthusiasm for genuine transformation and effective performance management.
