Senior Quotation Engineer - Busway Systems

We are currently seeking a Senior Quotation Engineer specializing in busway systems to join our Middle East Engineering Team based in Dubai, UAE. This role is vital in generating accurate, cost-competitive quotations that meet client technical specifications and Eaton’s internal procedures for the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Create technically robust and competitively priced quotations within set deadlines.
• Analyze client specifications, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and load schedules, to configure LV busway solutions.
• Design optimized busway configurations, routing plans, and compile bills of materials and pricing aligned with Eaton's policies and cost frameworks.
• Collaborate extensively with sales, product management, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure proposals are feasible, compliant, and competitively positioned.
• Engage with customers and internal teams to clarify technical and commercial aspects.
• Adhere to relevant industry standards for all quotations.
• Monitor market and competitor offerings to enhance quotation strategies.
• Provide efficient technical and commercial support to sales teams before and after tender submission.
• Handle multiple quotation projects simultaneously, prioritizing based on business objectives and deadlines.
• Maintain thorough quotation documentation and comply with pricing governance and approval procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying cost reduction, efficiency opportunities, and product feedback.
• Focus primarily on LV Busway quotations but assist with other MLVS product quotations as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar quotation engineering role.
• Strong expertise in LV Busway systems; knowledge of MV switchgear and transformers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with market sectors such as Data Centres, Industrial, and Commercial & Institutional segments.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities; additional languages like Turkish or Dutch are a plus.
• Demonstrated commercial insight and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines effectively.
