Senior Procurement Officer

About the Role

GeoHarbour Saudi Arabia is broadening its presence throughout the Kingdom and is in search of a seasoned Senior Procurement Officer. The position is based in Al Khobar and involves managing procurement tasks for significant infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and carry out procurement operations aligned with project requirements and timelines.
• Assess and approve suppliers and subcontractors in collaboration with related departments.
• Negotiate pricing, contractual terms, and conditions with vendors.
• Monitor purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered promptly.
• Generate procurement reports and track costs and performance metrics.
• Ensure adherence to organizational procurement policies and procedures.
• Manage and enhance relationships with suppliers to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Address and resolve any procurement or delivery issues that arise.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with preference for Engineering disciplines.
• At least 10 years of procurement experience, including a minimum of 5 years within Saudi Arabia, ideally tied to infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with engineering and infrastructure project procurement processes.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement protocols, supply chain management, and contract handling.
• Strong skills in negotiation, analysis, and time management.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
• Competence in Microsoft Office and ERP software applications.
