The Dubai Mall Online is the digital shopping platform for Dubai Mall, combining its renowned retail brands into one seamless e-commerce experience powered by advanced technology, logistics, and customer service.

Role Overview

As Senior Manager, People for the Dubai Mall team, you will be the strategic architect of the people agenda, collaborating closely with business leaders to guide recruitment, talent management, and HR operations that foster a high-performing, customer-oriented workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Steer the development and implementation of people strategies aligned with Dubai Mall’s growth objectives.
• Lead comprehensive recruitment efforts to attract and hire superior talent aligned with business needs.
• Craft workforce planning and develop talent pipelines to meet immediate and future roles.
• Manage employee relations, oversee performance management programs, and drive employee engagement.
• Provide coaching to managers on employee development and leadership effectiveness.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law along with company policies and HR standards.
• Collaborate on organizational design to improve structure and operational efficiency.
• Oversee annual performance reviews, talent assessments, and succession planning activities.
• Handle complex employee cases involving disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
• Identify and implement opportunities to refine HR processes, boosting efficiency and enhancing the employee experience through automation and improvements.
• Support business restructuring and workforce optimization projects.
• Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership by providing insights based on HR data and metrics.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of human resources experience, including leadership roles and end-to-end talent acquisition.
• Preference for candidates with retail or fast-paced, customer-facing industry exposure.
• In-depth understanding of UAE Labour Law and HR compliance requirements.
• Outstanding stakeholder relationship management, strong communication skills, and leadership capabilities.
• Proven project management skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
• Commercially aware with the aptitude to link HR initiatives to business goals.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with practical, solution-focused approaches.
• High ethical standards combined with confidentiality in handling sensitive HR matters.
• Meticulous organization and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to a dynamic, fast-evolving business environment.
