Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join and support our User Acquisition team. This role involves collaborating closely with User Acquisition, Marketing, Data Engineering, and analytics colleagues to evaluate marketing channel and campaign performance, uncover insights, and recommend strategies to improve customer acquisition and marketing ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze performance metrics across marketing channels, campaigns, audiences, creatives, devices, and landing pages to identify trends and optimization chances.
- Utilize acquisition measurement concepts such as Lifetime Value (LTV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), payback period, and Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) for evaluating customer value and guiding budget allocation.
- Assess marketing impact using attribution methods, incrementality testing, and contribute to Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) development.
- Define and track KPIs related to acquisition volume, efficiency, customer quality, and long-term value.
- Detect performance shifts proactively, identify root causes, and communicate risks and opportunities clearly.
- Develop self-service dashboards and automated reports to empower business teams.
- Collaborate with User Acquisition and Data Engineering teams to specify requirements and build scalable data models supporting acquisition analysis.
- Effectively communicate insights and actionable recommendations to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Qualifications
- 6 or more years' experience in user acquisition, growth, marketing, or data analytics roles.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative disciplines.
- Strong background analyzing paid search, paid social, display, affiliate, mobile, connected TV, or similar acquisition channels.
- Proven ability to develop LTV, CAC, payback period, and ROAS econometric models.
- Familiarity with marketing measurement techniques including attribution and incrementality testing.
- Advanced SQL proficiency with handling large datasets.
- Experience programming in Python or R for statistical analysis, modeling, automation, and data visualization.
- Skilled in Business Intelligence platforms such as Omni, Looker, or Tableau.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Git, or data build tool (dbt) is advantageous.
- Excellent multi-tasking, independent working skills, and project management through problem identification to solution presentation.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
Compensation and Benefits
The anticipated salary for new hires in this position ranges between $150,000 and $170,000 USD annually, with variations depending on experience, skills, and location factors.
