Senior Data Analysis Expert

Responsibilities

• Design data architecture focused on high availability and conduct database capacity planning alongside performance optimization.
• Manage databases by developing automated batch scripts and tools to maintain the stability and punctuality of data-related applications.
• Oversee the data lifecycle by coordinating backup processes, disaster recovery plans, and emergency drills.
• Enforce data governance policies by implementing compliance strategies such as database cleaning, desensitization, and archival procedures.
• Undertake various other data analysis tasks as required.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management, or analogous fields.
• Have over 5 years of experience in database management, development, or operations, with proficiency in at least two database systems (examples include MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, TiDB, ClickHouse). Candidates with backgrounds in the internet or financial sectors, particularly banking, are preferred.
• Strong understanding of database concepts including transactions, locking mechanisms, indexes, logging, replication, and sharding.
• Expertise in performance analysis tools such as Explain plans, slow query logs, and profiling, with hands-on experience optimizing large-scale data.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and skills in at least one scripting language like Python or Shell for tool development and operations.
• Holding certifications related to database administration (e.g., OCP, MySQL OCP, TiDB PCTA) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate efficiently within a team.
• Fluency in both English and Chinese to effectively report and coordinate with local teams and the Head Office.
