Role Overview
This Senior Accountant position involves overseeing the financial operations of the company, ensuring robust budgeting and financial management practices, and compliance with statutory obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee overall company finances and develop financial budgets.
- Prepare detailed financial plans and accurate forecasts to guide business decisions.
- Manage and monitor cash flows and funds efficiently to maintain liquidity.
- Complete and finalize accurate financial statements regularly.
- Ensure full compliance with GST regulations, taxes, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage both internal and external audit processes.
- Analyze and review financial reports and Management Information Systems (MIS) data.
- Exercise control over budgets and continuously monitor cost management.
- Handle loans, banking transactions, and related financial activities.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes diligently.
- Authorize vendor payments ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage payroll processes in line with compliance standards.
- Track sales and overall financial performance metrics.
- Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory financial requirements.
- Provide financial insights and support to assist management's strategic decisions.
- Lead and mentor the accounts team to ensure smooth financial operations.
