Job description

Role Location and Hours

This opportunity is based in Ovens, County Cork, Ireland. The position demands flexible availability from Monday to Sunday with a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week.

Compensation

The hourly wage starts at €16.15, which includes a €20 night allowance alongside Sunday premium rates. The basic pay rate is €15.41 hourly, incorporating a 74-cent advance payment ahead of the upcoming Employment Regulation Order increase.

Job Responsibilities

  • Complete all essential training tailored to the assignment satisfactorily.
  • Execute assigned duties according to the published Assignment Instructions thoroughly.
  • Regularly review these instructions to stay updated and propose service improvements proactively.
  • Operate CCTV monitoring systems when required.
  • Identify and promptly report any health and safety hazards onsite.
  • Remain vigilant for potential threats and respond appropriately to mitigate disruption or loss.
  • Apply sound judgment and involve others immediately if situations escalate.
  • Document incidents in detail promptly for the Incident Report process.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Fluent proficiency in English is mandatory.
  • A minimum of six months relevant experience in a similar security role is required.
  • Strong written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer use.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Excellent customer service aptitude and telephone etiquette.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Possession of a valid Private Security Authority (PSA) Licence.
  • Safe Pass certification is advantageous.
  • Own transport preferred and a clean full driving license required.
