Job Overview

The role demands an experienced SAP Consultant with over 5 years of expertise in SAP ABAP development, particularly with SAP HANA, SAP RISE, and SAP EWM technical areas. This position is located at TCS Infopark Kochi.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP and HANA-centric solutions.
• Create and improve various reports including Classical, Interactive, and ALV formats.
• Develop interfaces such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and OData services.
• Work on forms including SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.
• Implement enhancements via User Exits, BADIs, and Enhancement Framework.
• Utilize HANA development tools like CDS Views, AMDP, SQL Script, and modeling concepts to optimize performance.
• Construct and consume OData services for SAP Fiori applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and optimize ABAP programs targeting SAP HANA databases.
• Take part in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and upgrades.
• Document technical specifications, conduct unit testing, and manage deployments.
• For SAP Rise, engage with SAP Fiori/UI5 development, RAP programming, SAP BTP platform, workflows, integrations (PI/PO, CPI, APIs), and SAC.
• Support and develop SAP EWM technical components including warehouse process customizations, RF Framework, Warehouse Monitor enhancements, PPF Actions, and BAdIs.
• Debug and resolve issues in EWM applications and integrations.
• Conduct code reviews and technical design documentation for deployments.

Candidate Profile & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including at least 2-3 years focused on SAP EWM technical development.
• Proficient with ABAP Dictionary, ALV Reports, BDC, BAPI, RFC, IDocs, OOABAP, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and enhancements (BADI, User Exits).
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA development: CDS Views, AMDP, HANA SQL, and performance optimization techniques.
• Knowledgeable in OData Services and SAP Gateway.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA architecture and development.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
• Understanding of SAP Rise and Cloud technologies including SAP BTP, business process intelligence, and cloud migration strategies.
• Experience with SAP Activate methodology and business processes across FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and HCM modules.
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development, RAP programming model, workflow development, and integrations (PI/PO, CPI, APIs, and Web Services).
