SAP BTP Application Lead

About the Role

This position requires over six years of professional experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) application development. The candidate will be responsible for delivering complete end-to-end solutions in BTP environments, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead front-end development efforts primarily using Business Application Studio (BAS) with exposure to at least two full implementation cycles.
• Design and develop SAP BTP frontend and backend solutions using SAP Build and OData protocols.
• Develop applications using Fiori/UI5 frameworks on BTP including leveraging Business Process Automation (BPA) and Workzone tools.
• Transform business requirements into viable technical designs and solutions with meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborate effectively with functional and business units to create optimized and scalable technical architectures.
• Communicate clearly and effectively across teams and stakeholders, including presenting solutions and gathering requirements.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 6 years' experience with SAP BTP application development including frontend and backend components.
• Recent hands-on experience within the last four years working on SAP BTP frontend and backend development projects using SAP Build and OData.
• Strong expertise in developing Fiori/UI5 applications on BTP platform, including BPA and Workzone capabilities.
• Knowledge of SAP ABAP programming and OData services.
• Proven ability in converting complex business needs into detailed technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
• Background in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and a solid understanding of SAP ecosystems.
