Role Overview

As a Sandwich Maker, your primary responsibility involves preparing, assembling, and packaging sandwiches and related food products while adhering strictly to food safety standards and maintaining a clean workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare food items following standardized recipes.
• Use scales to verify product weight when required.
• Document quality assurance records promptly during operations.
• Package and label finished products appropriately for distribution.
• Clean and prepare fresh produce items carefully.
• Sanitize all equipment and surfaces daily according to provincial and internal standards.
• Conduct daily cleaning routines for the facility.
• Implement allergen control policies, including regular critical control point checks.
• Maintain high personal hygiene standards and comply with GMP and food safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Keen eye for detail and dedication to excellent product presentation.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience handling food service equipment such as wrapping machines, metal detectors, conveyor belts, thermometers, and weighing scales.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and endure working in cold environments for extended periods.
