About the role

This position is the first role in a newly created sales enablement function. The aim is to define how Gallagher Security equips its sales teams, giving regional groups the tools, insights and resources they need to turn product depth into stronger commercial results.

You will work closely with regional teams and head office partners across product, marketing, training, sales operations and pricing to remove roadblocks, improve alignment and establish an enablement cadence that drives performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop strong working relationships with regional sales teams and head office stakeholders to identify obstacles to effective selling and coordinate support to address them.
  • Set up and lead a recurring sales enablement forum that serves as a central channel for updates, regional requests and the development of an enablement roadmap.
  • Produce and maintain practical enablement materials such as presentations, tools and supporting assets that help close knowledge gaps in the field.
  • Gather market intelligence, competitor information and win/loss feedback, then share it with the right teams to improve responsiveness in the market.
  • Work with the training function to identify capability gaps, support learning pathways and speed up onboarding for new sales representatives.
  • Apply AI tools and commercial data to improve how teams learn, handle complex product information and lift overall sales performance.

What you bring

You should already understand what strong enablement looks like in practice and be ready to build something meaningful from the ground up. The role calls for credibility, influence and the ability to shape an emerging function.

  • At least 7 years of experience across sales and/or sales enablement, ideally including direct sales experience.
  • Background in a complex business with multiple products, markets or global operations.
  • Sound commercial judgement, with the ability to interpret pipeline data, spot patterns and connect insights to enablement activity.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the confidence to influence and align others without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation ability, including the skill to simplify complex ideas into engaging, useful content.
  • Practical knowledge of AI tools and how they can support sales learning, productivity and performance.
  • Highly organised, self-directed and adaptable, with the flexibility to work across time zones when required.
