Sales Engineer - Brazing Industry

Role Overview

This position is for a Sales Engineer focused on brazing applications within industrial settings. The role combines technical problem-solving with customer-facing sales support, especially for manufacturers and OEMs working in HVAC, refrigeration, and related sectors.

What You Will Do

• Provide technical assistance for brazing-related applications.
• Visit customer facilities to run product and process trials.
• Suggest suitable alloys and fluxes based on the application.
• Investigate and help resolve brazing defects such as poor flow and porosity.
• Work closely with OEM customers in HVAC, refrigeration, and similar industries.
• Collaborate with the sales team to expand business opportunities.

Candidate Profile

The employer is looking for someone with a strong background in brazing and welding, along with the ability to discuss technical matters confidently during plant visits and customer meetings. A diploma or degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Production engineering is preferred, and the role calls for 3 to 8 years of relevant experience.

Requirements

• Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Metallurgy, or Production engineering.
• 3 to 8 years of hands-on experience in brazing or welding.
• Good understanding of brazing alloys and related process knowledge.
• Comfortable travelling to factories and engaging in technical discussions with customers.
