About the Role

The Retail Supervisor position plays a crucial role within the Store Leadership Team, leading associate-level staff in a specific area and upholding the company’s mission: "Connecting Active People with Their Passions." Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of associate-level team members within designated areas.
• Offer training, coaching, and clear guidance to associates to ensure store procedures are followed and customer service standards are met.
• Oversee assigned department operations, including handling merchandise receipt, replenishment, and processing to support store profitability.
• Promote a collaborative and supportive store culture by demonstrating professionalism and leadership by example.
• Work with store leadership to align policies, procedures, and standards relevant to your responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, address employee adherence to quality standards, and resolve operational issues promptly.

Qualifications and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
• Between 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar retail supervisory or specialization role.
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computer systems, along with handling telephone communications.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with store leadership, team associates, and customers.

Working Conditions

• This position often requires being active on the sales floor and may involve physical tasks such as moving items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Use of specialized equipment and exposure to environmental factors like noise and dust may be frequent.
• Flexible availability is essential to meet seasonal and location-specific retail demands, complying with all legal scheduling requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage ranges from $20 to $24 depending on the candidate’s skills, experience, and market standards.
