Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory and equipment, place orders as required, and supervise maintenance, cleanliness, and security standards.
• Plan staff schedules and prepare duty rosters to guarantee smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Oversee all kitchen and behind-the-scenes operations, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work within budgetary constraints, drive profit maximization, and meet sales objectives set by corporate.
• Manage financial administration including cash control and payroll processing with accuracy and compliance.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance their performance and support goal attainment.
• Encourage and inspire staff to perform at their best and uphold high operational standards.
• Ensure hygiene and health and safety protocols are consistently followed.
• Address and resolve customer complaints swiftly and professionally.
• Implement marketing campaigns provided by the head office and design local promotional activities.
• Maintain point-of-sale promotional materials and prepare performance reports and analyses.
• Participate in regular meetings with area managers or head office personnel.
• Build community relations and engage in corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Qualifications and Preferences

• 1 to 2 years of prior management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and motivation skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Availability for varied shifts including evenings, mornings, weekends, and rotational schedules.
• High work ethic with a readiness to perform multiple roles.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency in English is desirable.
