Overview

This role is offered via a partnering organization seeking a Research & Development Analyst based in the United States. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement research frameworks such as surveys, interviews, focus groups, and quantitative analyses.
Gather, structure, and analyze diverse datasets ensuring their integrity and applicability.
Conduct independent and collaborative data exploration to identify trends and new business opportunities.
Create analytical models and metrics to guide product innovation and strategic decisions.
Clearly communicate research conclusions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Track key performance indicators and project outcomes to evaluate success.
Provide data-supported recommendations for business planning, marketing strategies, and product development.
Perform competitor analyses to discern market dynamics and potential improvements.
Work alongside marketing, product, sales, and other departments to align research goals with company objectives.
Liaise with external research collaborators or agencies when necessary.
Keep up-to-date with emerging analytical technologies and industry trends to foster innovation.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in relevant quantitative fields such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Operations Research.
Between 2 to 3 years’ experience in roles including research analysis, market research, data analysis, or business intelligence.
Strong analytical abilities and critical thinking with proficiency in interpreting intricate data sets to extract actionable insights.
Experience with statistical software and tools such as SPSS, SAS, R, or Python.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with capabilities in data analysis and visualization.
Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Strong communication skills for delivering complex results effectively across diverse audiences.
Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple ongoing projects and deadlines.
Detail-oriented mindset with dedication to data accuracy.
Beneficial skills include knowledge of advanced analytics, machine learning, SQL, database management, and data visualization platforms like Tableau or Power BI.
Additional certifications or advanced education in research, analytics, or business fields are a plus.
