Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Content Editor to work remotely with OpenMind eDesign. The role involves refining diverse subject matter content focusing on American English grammar and narrative flow, ensuring high-quality presentation and clarity.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance various academic and instructional content with accurate grammar and smooth flow in American English.
• Review video-related materials like closed captions and transcripts to correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax, formatting, and other inconsistencies.
• Create tailored visual and audio descriptions to support multimedia learning content.
• Guarantee complete accuracy in transcription outputs, ensuring error-free text.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Background in publishing, journalism, or communications is advantageous.
• Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
• Excellent verbal communication, active listening abilities, and proficiency with computers.
