Relationship Manager - Malda

Role overview

This position focuses on driving branch-level business growth in Malda by expanding sales, growing market share, and upholding strong service quality for channel partners and their customers.

Retail sales execution

• Build consistent sales from assigned relationships and help the region meet its targets.
• Study market information to identify potential clients and use direct outreach and partner tie-ups to grow business.
• Understand distributor profiles and tailor support to their needs so business continues steadily.
• Increase the number of folios and achieve the planned inflow of new SIPs.
• Meet sales goals while strengthening the branch’s share in the market.

Distributor empanelment and partner engagement

• Maintain regular touchpoints and meetings with distributors.
• Support empanelment and activation of distributors.
• Share product updates and other relevant information in a timely manner.
• Plan and run trainings and engagement activities for partners.
• Drive business growth from client relationships through quick and effective service.

Reporting and compliance

• Ensure full adherence to internal reporting and audit requirements.
• Submit weekly updates to the Branch Manager, Regional Heads, and Channel Heads.
• Keep the sales portal updated with the information needed for analysis and data collection.
• Arrange installation of advertising and promotional material to improve brand visibility.

Knowledge and know-how

• Strong grasp of market trends and macroeconomic basics.
• Good understanding of financial products and investment choices.
• Clear knowledge of mutual fund products and the solutions offered by the AMC.
• Working knowledge of financial planning and investment planning principles.
• Basic awareness of the regulatory environment.
• Comfortable working with basic Excel tasks.
