Regional Technical and Energy Manager

Position Overview

We are searching for a dedicated Regional Technical and Energy Manager to oversee a collection of leisure facilities, ensuring their safe, effective, and sustainable operations. Based primarily from home, this role involves travel throughout Leicester, Nottingham, and Derby. This permanent, full-time role offers a salary of up to £58,000 annually and an attractive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with statutory and contractual standards across regional leisure facilities.
• Drive energy management programs by leveraging data to optimize consumption and lessen carbon emissions.
• Assist in asset management tasks including maintenance scheduling, lifecycle planning, and budget oversight.
• Offer expert advice regarding HVAC systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and electro-mechanical equipment.
• Support capital project implementations, oversee mobilization efforts, and manage relationships with contractors and consultants.
• Produce clear, insightful reports covering performance and risk aspects.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrated expertise in building services with strong awareness of compliance and health and safety regulations.
• Practical experience in energy management, preferably within leisure or comparable sectors.
• Extensive technical knowledge of HVAC systems and BMS controls.
• Familiarity with ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems or related engagement.
• Ability to confidently communicate and influence stakeholders at operational and senior management levels.
